Network marketing tips: Your why
Network marketing tips : how to keeping the retention rate as high as possible.
Today’s tip is about “the WHY”
You may have heard about the importance of having a WHY. It is important for you to have a written WHY. Equally important is to help your new distributor write down their WHY. When you sign up a distributor make sure that you connect with their emotions and find their reason for doing the business. In their subconscious mind, they have deep reasons why they are involved in network marketing. The trick is to dig deep to find it.
I recommend that you ask your new distributor 15 reasons why they want to be successful. Then dig deep till you find a single, very emotional reason.
Then, you help them stay accountable for it.
They have to put these reasons in writing, send it to you and even to your upline.
So when the time gets tough then you remind your distributors about their emotional reasons and they will forget ever to quit.
Their why should be very deep, emotional not superficial stuff!
So, in order to keep your distributors around and build them to be leaders, you must:
1-Teach them needs v/s wants
2-Teach them rejection-free prospecting
3-Find their deep emotional why and make them accountable to it

Success in network marketing depends, as we discussed before, keeping your people around a.k.a the retention rate.
One of the tricks to make your distributor stick around is to glue those distributors together as a family. Mentally, it will be very difficult to break family bonds!
You find many MLMers staying with a horrible abusing company because the leaders are smart enough to play the game of building strong relationships between their distributors.
Distributors in these organization act if they were in a ’sect’ and it is almost impossible to leave.
How do you glue your organization?
“Buddy system”: You introduce your distributors together, upline, downlink, and cross line.
You teach them “law of abundance” which means there are plenty of money for everybody, we work together. We never compete with each others.
If you are building long distances, your company official meetings are a must for new distributors even though you do not expect them to learn much in these meetings.
Building personal relationships this way allowed Amway to be the largest network marketing company and still the largest company by far from any other company around.
So, in order to keep your distributors around:
1-Teach them needs v/s wants
2-Teach them rejection free prospecting
3-Build solid relationships
Keep posted for more wisdom.

One of the clues to network marketing success is keeping your people around.
If you sponsor 10 people this month, then the following month all 10 quit (and they screen their calls so you cannot call them) then you have problems. The next month, you will have to work again to bring 10 other people… this is emotionally draining.
Your purpose in leadership is to build a permanent downline.
The first reason distributors quit is: Rejection.
People hates rejection. They will do anything to avoid rejection.
Whenever you sponsor a new distributor, you have to teach him prospecting rejection-free. You have also to teach him the difference between needs and wants.
Big Al classic story:
A new distributor starts his business with passion. He tells his friends and family all about these great products and they reject him. The next day, he goes to work and start telling his c0- workers and they make fun of him.
This distributor goes home, crawls under the couch and stay there forever.
If you teach your distributors needs v/s wants, this won’t happen. For an example:
We need to exercise but do we want to? No.
We need to eat healthy but do we want to? No.
We need to go to the dentist but do we want to? No.
So it is normal, the new distributor has to understand that most people need the products and the opportunity but most of them don’t want them.
Our purpose is to find the 1% who wants to do something about their challenge.
In the next 24h of sponsoring a new distributor, teach them the concept of needs v/s wants, as well as rejection-free prospecting.
I will discuss many other reasons why distributors quit and what to do about it in the incoming days.
