How to use the internet as tool for lead generation for your network marketing company?

What is pay per click for internet marketing newbies?

When you go to search engines like yahoo and google, and you type ‘mlm tips’ for example, you get what you call: organic results, and you get results on the top or the right side called: sponsored results. The sponsored results are “advertisement” similar to any adds in the newspapers.

How do pay per click works?

Anybody can subscribe for an account, and they bid like an auction on ‘keywords’, and whoever bids higher, gets the highest rank in those sponsored results.

If you already have a “lead capture” page, you may advertise on these pay per click, and get immediate traffic from people looking for what you have to offer.

Major pay per click ones are: overture and google adwords. There are many others as well.

What is the problem for pay per click as lead generation techniques?

Pay per click has been getting extremely popular and more competitive, many people may pay more than 1$ for each visitor. You may have 10 visitors to get one lead.

So the lead is very specific for your network marketing company or home based business, but it may have cost you 5-10$ per name. And you may have to talk to 10 people, depending on your expertise, and depending on your company system to sponsor one person.

If you sponsor 1/10 people, and each lead cost you 5$, then you paid 50$ for each team member that you have in your team. So it is really about testing and experimenting.

If you have no idea about what are you doing, a website that sucks, or a dead website that I have already discussed before, then you may waste tons of money in seconds.

There are many factors that plays role: the quality of your ad to start with, the quality of your webpage…

Remember, this is the internet, you want to make sure you are not paying to advertise in the whole world! You do not want someone in china clicking on your add for 1$ unless you speak chinese, and your company is in China.
