Network marketing junk to be aware of

Today I feel that I must inform you from the obvious m.l.m network marketing junk around. This junk is what give this great industry the bad reputation.

I received an email from a person supposedly who is asking me my opinion.
Now this person is either pitching me on this new deal that he has found or he is simply naive (or may be even dumb)!

I usually do not discuss on how to evaluate a company in this blog. I do have another website where I discuss these in details. I do feel obligated to inform you about this email though.

This guy is asking me my opinion about a junky pre-launch company called beontop!

1) I would never join a pre-launch company as a principle: pre-launch and new companies disappear most of the time. Would I want to get my team dreams in such companies? No no no.

Ok, this junky pre-launch ‘company’ is called Beontop.

2) I decided to give this naive guy my opinion, so the first thing I evaluate in a business (surprisingly for most naive network marketers) is not the products nor compensation plans! Yes, you read it right.

What I do evaluate first is the policies and procedures!
Then comes the comp plans and the products.

Yes, policies and procedures reflects how low or how high is the integrity of those ‘leaders’

Very simply, I want to know if this company is planning to pay their distributors or steal their checks after getting the job done.

Look what I found in these junky pre-launch company policies:

“BeOnTop has the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel, at any time and for any or no reason, a Member’s membership in and access to the BeOnTop Website and the BeOnTop program. All Earnings may be cancelled in BeOnTop sole discretion, and the Member may be referred to appropriate law enforcement agencies if such action is deemed warranted by BeOnTop.”

Very brutally, they tell you to check the box that you read this sentence.
They tell you we have the right just to take your check and not pay you for NO REASON!!!!

That was outrageous for me. I am sure in the next few months many ‘idiots’ are going to join this pre-launch company and their dreams will disappear when this company go bankrupt or get transformed to direct sales or simply terminate them when they stop working!

The worst is they are going to drag with them many poor souls !

I am going to add a new category in the future on how to evaluate a company because obviously many people are still unable to differentiate between most rip off mlm companies and companies with real residual income potential.

Some people can not even differentiate between scams and pyramid schemes and legal mlm companies!

Building real residual income: The magic of network marketing

I was reading Chapter 19- The magic of network marketing: Building real residual income by Barry Friedman in the book the ultimate guide to network marketing.

He shares in this chapter the same concepts that we share in the mentoring for free.

He explains how the residual income can be so significant and not well appreciated.
Obviously, it is better to make $10,000/month forever than making $50,000/month for 3 months.

That’s one of the reason I got angry and left orenda international because of their front overloading system and the multiple breakaways in their compensation plans. Obviously, I did not understand these concepts initially until I got a slap in the face when I noticed that they stopped paying me as soon as I stopped working. Breakaways broke my heart , I recovered though, lol. I am mainly interested in recurring income.

Barry Friedman recommends that you explain this concept to your prospects so they can see beyond the immediate cash money.

He gives an example:

If you worked hard in your business for couple of years and you were able to make $3000 residual income, then it is equivalent to 3% interest rate on $1,000,000. Congratulations you are officially making like a millionaire!

Actually, in my own company presentation we use this concept to explain the benefits of multi-level marketing and the recuring income. You may want to add this concept to your company presentation. It will help your prospects to see beyond their noses.

It seems that Barry Friedman is Big Al student, these are the principles taught by Big Al to the industry.

In order for you to get a real residual income, you product should fulfill these criteria:

• High demand
• Great value
• Limited competition
• Affordable pricing
• Continuous need
• Ready availability
• Geographical availability
• Products or services backed by a guarantee or warranty

He discusses in this chapter more concepts that I will share with you in future posts.

MLM secrets-Learn copywriting

I have already shared with you and should not be one of the mlm secrets anymore for you that network marketing is about marketing.

One of the major components of marketing is: Copywriting.

What is Copywriting?

Copywriting is the ability of using powerful words that elicit people to take action.
Copywriting skills are crucial for any marketing campaign.
Copywriting skills are very expensive also. Asking a copywriter to write a small classified add for you will cost you at least $80.
I have asked a copywriter to write one page of another website and she asked me for $5000!
Yes, you read it right: 5 thousands American dollars.

When Copywriting is needed in network marketing

1) Advertising: Placing any simple add offline or online requires some basic skills.
Writing compelling headlines to grab reader’s attention is part of copywriting.
Boring ads will not be read! Good Copywriting will awaken sleepy people.

2) Your website, your blog and your lead capture page:
If you are writing without any skills of copywriting then your visitors are going to get bored and leave your website.
I made this mistake myself when I started this blog; I was thinking about search engine optimization and forgot about Copywriting!
My blog would have been more attractive if I would have called it:
Rarely shared MLM secrets!
This is more compelling than just daily mlm network marketing tips.

I am going to tell you about an opportunity of a lifetime.
Ray Edwards one of the famous copywriters is offering free class about copywriting!
I have heard the guy multiple times, he is really good. He is planning to charge thousands in the future but he is offering this class for free as a beta test and he wants our feedback.

One more secret for you today, what are you selling in network marketing?

Vitamins? Make ups? Telecommunications? Video emails? Education?

The answer is: None of these. You are selling yourself! You are promoting yourself. Think about this concept. People join people they know, like and trust!
