Network marketing prospecting tip: beware of the reds
We discussed network marketing prospecting and the personality colors. I believe I discussed the yellows, the blues, and the greens. I forgot to discuss the reds.
The reds make 15% of the population.
Red personality:
“Reds” are the hard selling people, aggressive, the kick ass get the job done type of guys.
Reds are usually the lawyers, CEO of the companies, directors…
Reds are all about the money, the money.
Reds are sort of the opposite of the yellows: the nice loving people.
What are the characteristics of the reds and how to deal with them in network marketing?
Well, usually they are not the nicest people on the bloc. So it is your decision if you want to deal with them or not. If they cause headaches for you on the phone, you may want to hang up the phone on them.
Why you may want them in your business?
Usually reds have good connections with lots of people, so they may be a good doorway to reach other people
Reds usually are not coachable.
What do you do if your upline is a red?
Historically, those reds want to be in control and when they decide to leave the company, they will make sure they destroy your downline unless you follow them.
The best situation is to refuse to have a red as your sponsor. Or Keep him away from your team.
If you are a red, you may find it difficult to stay in network marketing because it is a relationship business.
Reds succeed in particular type of compensation plans called breakaway compensation plan and front overloading program, they succeed to recruit people but not many will be able to duplicate them. Reds rely on fresh blood like vampires.
Till the next tip.
