MLM Secrets - Are you swimming against the flow?
In today’s MLM training, I would like to share with you one of the MLM secrets that you must understand in your network marketing business.

You should follow your personality type doing the business and not change your personality.
Let me explain. I did talk to two people this evening.
Both ladies are ‘blues’: that means they like to have fun, they are open and direct.
One of them is very successful in her business and sponsoring people everyday.
The other is struggling big time and getting depressed!
The successful lady is in a travel business and she is having fun doing the business! No wonder she is able to sponsor people. She will never stop working in her MLM and she will never quit!
The other lady is struggling big time and why?
Because her upline and her network marketing company ‘leaders’ told her to chase her friends, family and cold call her neighbors.
What is she getting? Rejection and Pain!!
If you are following my posts I have discussed with you that #1 lesson you must teach your distributors is: Rejection Free Prospecting!
If your distributors are having fun and they are not stressed out, they will stay with you for hundred years even if they don’t make money!
Forget this piece of the puzzle; your distributors will get plenty of pains and rejection. No wonder they quit. Your distributors will never want to talk to anyone anymore, they are going to hide in the closet; their self esteem is in the mud. Then they will tell you that MLM is just a scam!
Do you understand where this objection is coming from?
Did you remember also in prior post how crucial is the self esteem in this business?
How do you expect to be magnetic with poor self esteem?
What is the purpose of sponsoring people if they keep quitting on you?
Where is the duplication? Are you duplicating the pain!

It is very important in your mlm training for new distributors to teach them the basics of wants and needs.
What people want is different than what people need.
If you forget this step and you told your distributor to chase their friends and family, you are exposing your team members to rejection and failure before they even start.
For an example: Your new enthusiastic distributor asks his diabetic aunt who has pain all over her body: “I got great nutritional products that may help your diabetes and pains, would you want to try my products? ”
His aunt tells him, “I am under the care of my doctor. He takes good care of me.” The poor distributor just got a big fat No. The aunt may need the products but she does not want them. She is telling him, get off my back. He needs to back off immediately.
The new mlm distributor is going to lose his mind, how come his dear aunt rejected him like this.
Now, his aunt needs the supplements but she doesn’t want them.
Next day, our new mlm distributor goes full of energy and he hears his co-workers complaining of their low salary, not being appreciated, etc. Then he asks them: ‘ would you like to join my company and make money?’ And his co-workers answer: Go away; this is a pyramid scheme, this is a scam, someone in china lost his money in these deals.
Your poor mlm distributor rejected, humiliated goes and burry himself under the couch.
You have already lost a new fresh distributor. He quit. He can not sustain the pain of prospecting!
How to prevent mlm prospecting pains and rejection?
This is one of those biggies of Big Al mlm secrets:
You teach him Wants and Needs.
We need to wake up and exercise in the morning but do we want to? Nooo
We need to eat healthy but do we want to? Nooo
We need to go to the dentist but do we want to? Nooo
So, his aunt need the products but she doesn’t want them. May be if she is sick, people feel pity for her and they visit and now she has company! His aunt is normal.
His co-workers need the mlm opportunity but they do not want it and it is normal as well.
How can your mlm distributor prospect his friends and family without being rejected and without joining the no friends left club?
Prospecting through:
If this mlm distributor went to his aunt and asked her: Do you know anyone who has diabetes or aches and pains, my company has great products that may help those people?
Here his aunt will obviously forget about herself, and either she knows someone and she refers him to or she simply says: no, I don’t know anyone who has diabetes
Result: rejection free - and this may allow him to get referrals and he still gets the chance to eat turkey on thanks giving.
If he did go to his friends and asked them: Who do you know who has entrepreneurial spirit, passionate with dreams, who may has been in mlm but quit and may be looking to get back?
The answer would have been: No - but not to him, they just do not know anyone who need to make extra income. Or they do know someone then now your distributor has a hot fresh referral from a friend.
Do you see how that works?
The most important you do not want your fresh distributor to get pain!
Your distributor will stick with you to teach him all the details of marketing as long as he is not in pain.
You work hard to find a person with dream and hopes; he is very valuable to lose.

MLM secrets - Motivation in network marketing
I got this question in a way or another frequently. How do I motivate my downline?
I am going to discuss motivation in network marketing.
1) This is where “their” Why is so critical.
If you have read Success in 10 Steps e-book, this is the first lesson.
You remind yourself as well as your team about their emotional reasons to get them fired up again to put the time and effort to build a business.
2) If you sponsor people based on manipulation and they do not have dreams and desires then good luck in getting them off the TV.
This is why targeting your marketing is essential, sponsor people who have dreams and desires. Leave your uncle in peace, let him watch TV and drink his beer.
3) Most downline do not need motivation!
They need training. If prospecting is painful they are not going to work.
Therefore, teach your downline the principles of marketing and rejection free prospecting. They should be talking only to people who are waiting to hear from them.
